Our Mission
Rooted in Springfield is a nonprofit organization working to address inequitable food access on Springfield’s East Side by closing the physical
and financial gap between where food is grown and where it is consumed. Our goal is to create a community-centered food market on the East Side which will include a gathering space, teaching kitchen, and a year-round, and on-site food production growing system to ensure consistent access to healthy, affordable produce.
